Our senior team is comprised of highly experienced market practioners - all with decades of hands-on investment management and stockbroking experience.

 

Neville Harris- Neville spent twenty years in fund management between 1980 and 2000. At Sun Life of Canada he initially ran fixed interest funds before taking on the management of a variety of equity funds. He was recruited by Hill Samuel Asset Management in 1994 to strengthen the team running discretionary pension fund portfolios. Over the years as an analyst he has covered many sectors but had a strong focus on brewing, leisure and media with a wider ranging brief to find investment opportunities in mid-cap stocks. In 2000 he co-founded IRfocus and works with a wide range of clients both in terms of sector and market cap.


Chris Birks – Chris began his career in 1984 as a retail analyst at Laing & Cruickshank before moving on to equity sales at Kleinwort Benson Securities where he was responsible for a number of blue chip institutional accounts. He left broking to become a director of Frew MacMaster, the investor relations consultancy. Between 1997 and 2000 he was Head of Corporate Communications at Delta PLC. He is a co-founder of IRFocus and advises a range of companies across the market capitalisation spectrum.


Amanda Peachey – Amanda began her career in 1987 at S.G. Warburg with spells in the Eurobond, international private equity and Gilt-Edged divisions. She then became an investment analyst at Shell Oil in the team responsible for the $7bn in-house managed pension fund, before moving to Dresdner RCM Global investors where she ran several pensions funds, charities and unit trusts. Latterly she took up a directorship at Frew MacMaster, the investor relations consultancy managing relationships with a broad range of clients. She has been a member of the team at IRfocus since 2002.

 

Louise Talbot - (nee Featherstone) Louise was previously employed in Equity Sales dating back to 1992. She started her career at ABN AMRO Hoare Govett and was recruited as a founding member of the UK Equity team at Schroder Securities, post the merger with Citigroup, Louise continued her role in equity sales and was also appointed specialist sales in the transport sector.
